Job summary: Operate the plasma etch test system located in Osaka. This position will be responsible for conducting product testing in a representative environment to simulate the performance requirements of our Chemraz products in a plasma environment. This role is approximately 80% testing and 20% materials development.
Specific Responsibility:
• Successful operation and maintenance of test equipment as well as critical technical support to material testing campaigns.
• Responsible for collaborating on new test development, equipment calibration, sample inspection and installation, and successful completion of testing within the time frame and budget required.
• Post test evaluation of test articles and the generation of test reports.
• Provide material validation data, instrumental to GTs Chemraz growth strategy.
• Part of a technical team responsible for the selection of appropriate product and materials in support of customer inquiries and will be pivotal in the generation of technical data to support the fitness of purpose of materials and products in customer applications.
• The test equipment will be in continuous operation and so it is expected that this role will manage a variety of tests with varying complexity.
